Marquette University will soon publish the updated Computer Replacement Program Policy, outlining the standards, eligibility criteria, and funding procedures.
NOTE: The FY26 CRP cycle will begin one month after the policy is published. Requests submitted before then will not be processed.
What is the Computer Replacement Program (CRP)
Marquette University continues to invest in excellence through its ongoing Computer Replacement Program (CRP). This initiative ensures faculty and staff have access to secure, reliable, and up-to-date desktop and laptop computers that support their work. CRP directly supports the university's strategic plan and Securing our Future initiative by promoting sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term technology stewardship.
What CRP Means for You
CRP gives you access to standardized, university-funded computers that are eligible for regular upgrades, so you can stay productive without worrying about outdated technology. All new CRP computers must be approved by IT Services to ensure responsible use of university resources.
If your role requires enhanced specifications or specialized configurations, an exception process is being developed. This process ensures that technology investments meet real job needs while supporting financial stability and maintaining a strong, stable workforce.
