Test eduroam at Marquette Before You Go
For Marquette University students, faculty, and staff
Test your eduroam setup on Marquette's campus before traveling to another eduroam institution.
- While on the Marquette campus and near a Wi-Fi hotspot, open your device's Wi-Fi connections.
- Select the eduroam network name.
- A prompt appears for your username and password. Don't enter your Marquette username. Instead, enter your @marquette.edu email address and password.
- If this is your first time connecting to eduroam, another prompt directs you to accept or download the eduroam certificate. This certificate ensures you're connecting to the correct network. Accept the certificate.
- If your login is successful, you join the eduroam Wi-Fi network. The eduroam network is limited. You won't have access to university-restricted resources using eduroam.
- After connecting to eduroam, be sure to switch back to MU Secure Wi-Fi. If you don't have MU Secure set up, see instructions for Windows, macOS, iPhone/iPad or Android.
- After your device connects to eduroam at Marquette, you shouldn't need to make any changes when at another eduroam location.
Important: Marquette students, faculty, and staff shouldn't use eduroam regularly at Marquette.
