Charging to Cost Centers in PrintWise
Within PrintWise, users may have the option to charge different cost centers for print and copy jobs. You will see this option after you swipe or log into the printer.

The first listed cost center is your default cost center. For employees, this is the cost center you are paid from. For students, this is the PrintWise and MarquetteCash funds on their Marquette ID.
All other cost centers listed are assigned automatically, based on what cost centers you have access to within MyJob. Access to cost centers is updated nightly. University areas can place requests to the IT Services TechSquad to confirm and update who has access to selected cost centers within PrintWise.
PrintWise and Direct-print Printers
If you are using a direct-print printer (i.e., print jobs that print without swiping or logging into the printer) then your default cost center will be charged. IT Services advises areas to not allow student employees to print using direct-print, as this will charge their PrintWise funds.
