About Electronic Door Access (C-CURE 9000)
What’s Electronic Door Access (C-CURE 9000)?
C-CURE 9000 is the primary security application for assigning door access to campus locations. Users swipe or tap or their MarquetteCard to door hardware to gain location access. C-CURE 9000 is also known as:
- Building access
- Door access
- MarquetteCard access
- Card swipe (at doors)
- Proximity readers (at doors)
- Card readers (at doors)
ITS and the Marquette University Police Department (MUPD) use C-CURE 9000 to program door hardware and set door access clearances. Each department has a cardkeeper, who is responsible for granting clearance access to individual Marquette community members. A few clearances are assigned automatically, based on department or student status.
Access to C-CURE 9000
Access to C-CURE 9000 software is restricted to department cardkeepers.
