What's the Father Marquette Chatbot?
The Father Marquette chatbot appears on the Marquette Central website. The chatbot launched in May 2021, answering questions about financial aid, student accounts, registrar, and student employment.
Using the Chatbot
- Visit the Marquette Central website and select the chat icon on the lower right.
- The Father Marquette chatbot prompt appears. Select from a topic button or use the "Ask me a question" text field.
- Note that the chatbot's knowledge is limited to financial aid, student accounts, registrar, and student employment.
- Live agents may be available Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Otherwise, to reach Marquette Central advisers, call (414) 288-4000. Or visit Marquette Central on Zilber Hall's first floor. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
- By default, chatbot replies are in English. To change the language, under the "Ask me a question" text field, select the "Language Selector" icon. Choose from 104 languages.
- To close the conversation, select the "x" icon in the upper right of the chat prompt.
- If you enter your email address on the "End of conversation" screen, the chatbot sends you a copy of the chat transcript.
