About Siteimprove
What's Siteimprove?
Siteimprove is for university web authors only. This cloud-based tool scans Marquette websites for broken links, misspellings, and accessibility issues. Web authors receive weekly reports via email. The Office of University Relations administers Siteimprove.
Using Siteimprove
- Web authors review weekly emails and address university website issues.
- For details on issues, log in to Siteimprove with your Marquette email address. Note that Siteimprove uses your own custom password — not your Marquette password.
- When logged in to Siteimprove and viewing issues, use the CMS link to edit the webpage for fixes.
- Learn more at the Siteimprove Knowledge Base.
Troubleshooting
- If you can't log in to Siteimprove, use the "Forgot password" tool.
- Siteimprove starts its weekly scan on Thursdays and sends reports on Mondays. Some reported errors may be outdated.
- Not all link errors flagged by Siteimprove can be fixed. Focus on errors with a 404 HTTP status code.
