Installing Faculty_Staff_PrintWise for Windows
Faculty and staff using Marquette-issued devices should see the Faculty_Staff_PrintWise driver automatically installed. The instructions below are available for non-Marquette-issued Windows devices or for troubleshooting purposes.
Reminder! You might not need to install a driver to print. See Easiest way to print: PrintWise@marquette.edu to learn more.
Note your device must use MU Secure Wi-Fi, the wired network, or VPN to successfully install the Faculty_Staff_PrintWise driver.
Windows: Installing PrintWise for Faculty and Staff
- On your Desktop, within the Search Bar by the Windows icon, type File Explorer and press the Enter key.
- Once File Explorer opens, copy this file path \\v-uflrpprd1\Faculty_Staff_PrintWise and paste it in File Explorer as shown below. Then press the Enter key. This step will install the driver and you’ll see the print queue as shown in Step 3.
- Once added, the Faculty_Staff_PrintWise queue installs and opens on your device.
Additional Steps needed for Faculty_Staff_PrintWise if installing on a personal PC.
If you’re installing Faculty_Staff_PrintWise on a MU issued PC then you are finished. If you’re installing on your own Personal PC, you will need to follow these additional steps to set your MU username.
4. Select Printer>Properties
5. Click or tap the Device Settings tab.
6. Under Other Settings, click or tap Settings(W)...
7. In the User Name field, enter your Marquette username. Click or tap OK.
8. Click or tap OK to close the Printer Properties
9. Close the Faculty_Staff_PrintWise queue. You're now all set to print.
